Asphalt Paving

Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania

New asphalt installation or asphalt paving overlays are fresh starts for your property’s first impression.

The preparation for any asphalt paving project should be assessed by a professional to determine the best approach for the surface over time. SURE LINE will offer thoughtful recommendations considering the type of usage, traffic patterns, and drainage requirements.

Full-Depth Paving

SURE LINE specializes in providing full-depth asphalt paving services for both residential and commercial projects. Providing a high return on your investment, this is typically the longest-lasting and most durable paving option. We have extensive experience with brand-new lot/drive construction, as well as with the demo and repaving of a previous surface. With our continual investment in the latest paving tools and equipment, we ensure that clients receive a durable and long-lasting asphalt surface that will withstand the test of time.

Asphalt Milling & Repaving

Asphalt milling utilizes a milling machine to grind down the surface and sometimes the binder course of asphalt to a specified depth. Milling is often used in highway roadways and larger commercial projects when base materials are still in good condition and only the surface and binder courses of asphalt will need to be replaced.

Overlay Paving

A paving overlay is simply a new pavement section (generally 1.5″ – 2″ thick) placed over the top of an existing pavement surface.

For certain projects, an overlay is an economical choice that will provide durability and a fresh look to your asphalt surface.

Infrared Asphalt Heating

Infrared asphalt technology is an effective solution for critical asphalt repairs. This unique method blends hot-mix asphalt with the original and then compacts the area to create a seamless restoration. Infrared rays allow deep penetration asphalt repair and reclaiming without causing scaling, burning or separation of the asphalt from the aggregate.

Typical uses for Infrared heating include potholes, sunken utility cuts, catch basins, birdbaths, improper seams, refinished manholes, and lowered or elevated surfaces.

Advantages Include:

  • Environmentally Friendly
  • Time Savings
  • Seamless Repairs
  • Fewer Traffic Interruptions
